Warehouse Kaseem is in stable condition, “but remains critical” on Thursday night, his father William said in a series of tweets.

Vauls was admitted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center Tuesday night with abdominal pains before going into cardiac arrest Wednesday morning.
He was put on a ventilator and underwent emergency surgery later that afternoon, and was still “heavy sedated,” his father revealed.
Clarion Ledger reports that Vauls’ heart is said to be only working at about 10 to 15 percent, a cardiologist told his father.
William said his stomach ache was the result of his heart failure and added that “his liver is accumulating” toxins.

William told The Clarion-Ledger: ‘What the doctors thought happened, was when Kaseem’s heart stopped working, that’s what caused his stomach ache. “His liver is being damaged by fluid build-up in the liver, kidneys and blood. All the toxins build up in his blood stream and his heart can’t function properly and the machine is being used to clean the blood and poison.”

Vauls trained with the JSU soccer team and even posted videos on his personal page. Twitter accounts show him in the weight room weighing 315 pounds, according to Clarion-Ledger.
However, he did not tell anyone about the stomach pains he was experiencing, his father told the outlet.
Since then, Williams has provided updates on his son’s health through Vaul’s Twitter account and asked for prayers while posting his position in the hospital’s intensive care unit. , encouraged JSU athletes to visit him as he recovered.

He also tweeted his cell phone number while requesting assistance contacting our JSU TC head coach Taylor as well as assistant head coach Otis Ridley.
Vauls’ father reveals his son is ‘making progress’, but likely won’t wake up until fourth day on ventilator
Williams went on to post an update Thursday morning revealing that Vauls is “making progress,” as doctors gradually reduce his medication and “machine input.” He probably won’t wake himself up until day four on the machine, Williams added.
William wrote on Twitter: “The machine is so his organs can rest and not have to overwork. “Then they will reduce the dose of sedation so he can wake up on his own but it may take up to day 4 on the machine.”
Meanwhile, Vauls’ father was offered a hotel for five nights after arriving at JSU from South Carolina, according to The Clarion-Ledger.
The 6-foot-1, 250-pound player did not appear in a single game during the 2022 season, when he moved to JSU after wearing the red shirt at the Alabama A&M in his first year.
Vauls is a three-star player from Irmo High, 247sports profile state.
News of JSU player cardiac arrest comes a few weeks after Damar Hamlin fell in the middle of a match
News of Vaul’s medical emergency comes just over a month after a similar incident for the Buffalo Bills, a similar incident by Damar Hamlin after suffering a cardiac arrest while making a tackle during a game against Cincinnati Bengals on 2 January, as previously reported by Shade room.
Hamlin was given CPR on the field before being taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center after collapsing on the pitch mid-match.
Hamlin’s health scare and eventual recovery eventually brought the football community together and even helped raise over six million dollars for his toy fundraiser, along with with spreading awareness about CPR training, Shade room report last month.
