Jose Venezuela Stunned by Edwin De Los Santos

Jose Venezuela 12-0 took on Edwin De Los Santos in a scheduled 10th round match at lightweight on Sunday. The match was the first of four scheduled on Andy Ruiz-Luis Ortiz’s pay-per-view card. Southpaw De Los Santos looks sharp and aggressive the first time around. He even hurt his man at the end of the round.
Things don’t get better for Valenzuela in the second season – until, well, he can release his men. However, De Los Santos stood firm and then knocked out Venezuela, who then beat himself on the scoreline while De Los Santos lost a point for being too aggressive as his opponent was going down. However, it all came to an end in the third inning, when Venezuela first fell to his knees, then was saved by the referee when De Los Santos figuratively shot him dead.
