Problem Chargers full-back Joey Bosa will play Sunday against the Steelers after he was included in the team’s injured COVID-19 reserve on Tuesday.
According to a report from ESPN’s Field Yates, Bosa and Jerry Tillery are both on this list. Both will need to go through the league’s mandatory screening process to determine if they can play on Sunday.

How long is Joey Bosa absent?
A place on the COVID-19 roster means Bosa has problems to play against the Steelers on Sunday.
Following NFL guidance on COVID-19, vaccinated players who test positive and have symptoms must be isolated while contact tracing takes place. Those players will have to stay out of the game until they have two negative tests at least 24 hours apart. However, if a player is not vaccinated, they will need to be isolated for 10 days and must be symptom-free before returning.
Assuming Bosa is vaccinated, he could be back in time for Sunday’s game against Steelman. If he hasn’t been vaccinated, the earliest he can return is Friday, November 26. The Chargers will visit the Broncos on November 28.
Bosa’s absence will be a huge loss for the Chargers defense. The 26-year-old queuer leads the Chargers with 5.5 bags and three must-seeks in nine matches. Ti Artillery recorded 30 tackles with 2.5 sacks and three missed balls.
