Jennifer Lawrence wore Puddle Jeans style to the airport

As usual, Jennifer Lawrence arrived at JFK this weekend looking chic and cool. (Lawrence is often photographed in NYC wearing the latest designer items in the most casual ways, and we document that a lot here on Who What Wear.) During her travel day, Lawrence was choose a denim button-down shirt, jeans, and Alaïa’s famous mesh ballet flats in red. In many ways, it’s the perfect travel outfit, although I might be a little reluctant to wear it, given the denim trend she’s chosen.

That denim trend is puddle jeans, an item that has been loved by the fashion world recently. It’s almost an extension of the baggy jeans trend, but with excessive length with excess fabric “pudding” on the floor. As a self-proclaimed germaphobe, I generally avoid wearing any clothing that touches the ground when walking, especially airport and airplane bathrooms. That said, I like the look of jeans and puddle pants, but I’ll probably opt for something a little less floor-hugging for my next flight.
