Jarrell Miller will return the ring this week after being banned from using drugs
Jarrell Miller will return to the ring this Thursday in Buenos Aires.
The 33-year-old New Yorker will face Ariel Esteban Bracamonte of Argentina in the framework of the ‘KO Drugs Festival’ of the World Boxing Association!
The heavyweight champion is undefeated for 24 fights and will then face heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in June 2019 at Madison Square Garden. After appearing to be battered by Brit at a fiery press conference, fans were looking forward to the match only to see it end after the challenger failed three drug tests for banned substances.
After his suspension, Miller got a second chance to resume his career in a match against Jerry Forrest just over a year later. However, he was once again hit with another ban and hasn’t fought since.
His final battle came on November 17, 2018, against Bogdan Dinu, who went on to fight Daniel Dubois three years later.
Bracamonte has a record of 11 wins and 7 losses, two of which come in the UK against Dave Allen and Demsey McKean.
