“Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury is official,” Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotion posted to social media on Friday. “The truth will be revealed and the talk will end on Sunday, February 26. From Riyadh, Saudi Arabia live on ESPN+ PPV in the US and BT Sports Box Office in the UK. Tomorrow they will face off for the first time.”

While this news may not be particularly thrilling for die-hard martial arts fans, there’s no denying that Paul has drawn a lot of attention to the sport, not least because of his transcendent personality. his dominant and well-timed advertising skills but also because he seems to really take the fighting game seriously. The fact that Paul possesses an interesting and somewhat impressive ring-wearing style (for a guy who is basically just starting out) certainly helps too.

Tommy Fury, Tyson’s younger brother, is basically in this fight because of his last name, although he has to admit he has an 8-0 record. In fact, a win here could certainly help the man out of the shadow of this more famous and more decorated brother. The younger Fury is also sure to have a much bigger budget as he goes up against the colorful and popular social media influencer turned pro boxer.

The two men are said to have met last summer at Madison Square Garden. However, Fury was denied entry to the United States, then showed little interest – at least not publicly – in trying to get there. Paul, of course, went on, eventually knocking out former UFC fighter Anderson Silva in an exciting bout with the aging legend last October.

“Tommy now has no excuses,” Paul 6-0 tweeted in classic Paul style on Friday. “The baby was born. Very big money. Immigration is no problem. Tyson promised that he and his dad would take Tommy out of boxing and change his last name if he couldn’t beat the YouTuber. Tmw I’m going to London to look all three Fury in the eye and fulfill that promise.”

Fury, however, has some choice words about his victory regarding the rude American. “Jake Paul’s boxing career ended on February 26th and I can finally get on with my career,” Fury said via Sports sky. “Now every time I go out, people ask me about the game against Jake Paul. After this fight is over, people will ask me how it feels to take down Jake Paul. The world is about to see what happens when a real boxer comes face to face with a YouTuber.”
