Infiniti Q50 and Q70 recalled


Nissan Australia remembered 419 examples of its luxury Infiniti Q50 And Q70 Malfunctions in sedans can lead to broken propeller shafts and loss of power.

“Due to a manufacturing issue, the vehicle’s propeller shaft may not be durable enough and may fail,” Nissan said in the recall notice.

“As a result, the vehicle may stop operating while in motion and the driver will not be able to continue operating the vehicle.

“If a vehicle stops while moving, this may increase the risk of an accident, causing injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders.”

  • total 353 Q50s were produced from 2013 to 2019 affected
  • total 66 Q70s were produced from 2012 to 2016 affected
