Indian Motorcycles, America’s First Motorcycle Company, today celebrates its flat-racing legacy with the launch of the FTR Championship Edition. Only 400 pieces globally, the limited-edition FTR allows race fans around the world to join the Indian Wrecking Crew to celebrate the team’s five consecutive American Flat Track championships.

Inspired by the sport’s preeminent flat-track machine, the FTR750, FTR Championship Edition introduces an authentic racing paint scheme and a celebration of Indian Motorcycle Racing bezel with each championship season on display. But more than just a showcase, the limited-edition FTR features premium components, including a titanium Akrapovič exhaust, fully adjustable front fork and piggyback shock absorbers. Carbon fiber components, including the apron, front fender, airbox cover and headlight brace, complete the car’s premium design.

Adding to the flat-track-inspired design is a host of premium features and ride-enhancing technology, including three drive modes, wheel control with minimized rear lift, control stability, traction control and ABS when cornering. The FTR Championship Edition also introduces a 4.3-inch digital touchscreen and a 1,203cc liquid-cooled V-Twin engine that produces 120 horsepower and 87 pound-feet of torque. The limited edition FTR is fitted with race-inspired wheels that combine 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels – wrapped in Dunlop street tires with race-inspired flat treads. Radial-mounted dual-disc front Brembo brakes provide outstanding handling and stopping, while the ProTaper flat aluminum handlebars complete the racing look.
