This is the second Thanksgiving holiday of the Covid-19 pandemic, but the first since the vaccine was made available to the public.
That’s one of the reasons that experts predict holiday tourism is so crowded that more like 2019 than 2020.
Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, held annually in New York City, also looks like its old, with people lining the streets of Manhattan to watch. Last year, the parade was only for a TV crowd and the route was shortened.
