Lil Nas X no longer puts limits on her fashion choices! The 23-year-old artist and rapper has shown and made it clear when it comes to his personal style. From golden armor, to adventurous costume changes, the ‘Montero’ star has walked the billboards of fearlessness and self-love.
In a recent interview with People, Lil Nas X explained her definition of personal style.
Style is a form of self-expression. It’s a way to show people who you are, or at least how you want them to see you. I feel like in order to go further in life, you have to transform and do things that you wouldn’t normally do. “
However, Nas recently revealed that he’s scared about wearing a dress in his hometown of Atlanta, where his family and loved ones will be there to see him perform.
I was really nervous going on stage in front of my family and everyone in my cute little Coach dress. But as soon as I stepped outside, I felt like I was liberating my youth. Then my family – a lot of people who used to believe everything was the opposite of what happened on that stage – told me they were really proud. I feel like I’m changing some minds.”
As usual, Lil Nas X delivered an energetic and provocative performance that was worth paying for, but ran into some hiccups on another tour. While preparing for his performance in Boston, Nas said he encountered religious protesters holding placards that read, “Jesus is God, even the devil knows this.” there” and “Repent and believe the gospel”.
Nas asked one of his crew members to provide pizza for the protesters, but they refused.
One of the protesters was really cute, and I called him on Twitter, but I haven’t heard from him yet. He’s either laughing or having a really hard time in a group chat right now! “
