Hyundai is recalling some V6-powered vehicles. Fence models as they may lose power.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, under certain conditions the engine valve spring may crack,” the company said in the recall notice.
“If this happens, the engine may stall resulting in loss of traction.
“Loss of steering power while driving can increase the risk of an accident resulting in injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.”

If you own an affected vehicle, you will need to schedule an appointment with a Hyundai dealer to have the auxiliary motor assembly replaced free of charge.
