I’ll start this off by saying that I’m not the biggest fan of skinny pants or slim-fit pants. To be honest, I’m glad I left the years behind in gloss-coated jeans, and if you’re a regular reader of Who wears what UKmaybe you will catch me writing lyrical about my love for wide leg pants more than once. However, *pauses for effect* part of my job as editor here is to dig deep into our data and track what products and brands our audience I really love (and of course shop). Usually these bestsellers match the ones our editors are obsessed with, but I recently discovered a rogue addition to the list that has attracted attention. mine: H&M’s cigarette pants.

H&M’s chimney pants may be skinny, but they’re a far cry from the (honestly, hurtful) jeggings of the past.
Before I pass judgment, I need to try them out and see what all that fuss is about. After all, we sold a whopping 167 pairs last month and not all of you can go wrong. Turns out, you’re not, and as soon as I put on my affordable pants, I immediately turn 180 degrees into my tights. I suddenly feel like a very luxurious French women who always looks polite, and I realize why a pair of tight, tight-fitting pants is always a staple in the typical Parisian wardrobe.
