Highlights on eppfun CuteMeet 300 earbuds: Dual microphone noise cancellation for clearer calls

I am not a fan of earplugs. I prefer the sound of over-ear headphones, and it’s rare for any earbuds or sticks to deliver the rich sound I like. However, I was intrigued by the eppfun CuteMeet 300 earbuds, the sound quality they deliver, and the earbuds’ long playtime.

The earbuds have four built-in microphones and feature CVC8.0 and ENC (environmental noise cancellation) technology to automatically filter out extraneous noise. Sound quality is good with great bass delivered by the 13mm speakers, and I could hardly detect any distortion in the mid-range and upper-range. Audio is powered by their Qualcomm aptX HD chip.

The CuteMeet 300 are IPX5 rated, so they’re sweat resistant – but don’t go swimming in these earbuds.

The touch area is located towards the top of the headset. Touch the eppfun logo to invoke commands. Tap on either headset to play/pause music, then touch and hold the right earbud to increase the volume and the left earphone to decrease the volume.

Double-tap to navigate through tracks and triple-tap to toggle game mode on or off – which reduces bud latency to 60ms for faster gaming.

The metal case is solidly made with 4 indicator lights showing the level of charge. It will charge the earphones four times from a full charge, delivering up to 32 hours of playtime before needing to recharge the case. The earbuds will provide up to 6 hours of playtime before they need to be recharged.

The earbuds require a single tap if you want to stop the music and listen to someone else. Taking the buds out of your ears won’t pause the music.

There’s no Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) on these buds, but background noise is minimized and shouldn’t disrupt your playing experience.
