Theatrical boxing made its debut on DAZN Thursday night with a card streamed live from Sony Hall in Manhattan. 19-year-old David Lopez 2-0 started things off by beating Nelson Morales 3-5 in a four-round super featherweight bout.
Though he failed to score his third straight knockout goal, Oakland’s Lopez was nonetheless able to take the lead by being sharp in action. Lopez didn’t appreciate himself after the game was over, citing that he still had work to do. Still. Andre Ward’s fencing partner was once again able to escape the ring without being defeated.
