Harley-Davidson Hydra-Glide Revival 2024 in Malaysia – limited edition worth RM179,900, 5 units for the local market
A limited edition in the Malaysian high-end touring motorcycle market is the Harley-Davidson Hydra-Glide Revival 2024, with a starting price of RM 179,900. Part of the Harley-Davidson Icon Collection, the Hydra-Glide is limited to 1,750 units globally, of which five are designated for Malaysia.
With each individually numbered part on the upper triple clamp, the Hydra-Glide comes with a custom Redline Red paint job, highlighted by Birch White panels on either side of the tank. Together with the chrome ‘V’ fuel tank badge, this is reminiscent of the livery of the 1956 Harley-Davidson Hydra-Glide.
Additionally, “Hydra-Glide” lettering badges are placed on either side of the full-size front fender while a “Hydra-Glide Revival” insert is placed on the handlebar lift cover. This is complemented by an Icon Motorcycle Collection graphic located on the rear fender, identifying the Hydra-Glide as a limited production model.
There is also a solo saddle finished with decorative leather trim and fringe. The saddle features white stitching and contrasting red stitching as well as chrome rails and a leather tank strap with chrome accents for an authentic ’50s look.
Standard equipment includes a pair of leather saddlebags with a water-resistant treatment and a safety lock. Otherwise, the Hydra-Glide has similar mechanics to other Harley-Davidson Softtails in the lineup.
Coming with a 1,870 cc Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-twin engine, the Hydra-Glide adds power with a Screaming Eagle High-Flow air filter. with air and oil cooling, this gives the Hydra-Glide 86 horsepower with a maximum torque of 161 Nm.
