This column highlights the performance of young women who have had no more than five starts and sold for more than $500,000 in public auction, have a sibling who is a grade/group winner, or has grade/group level winners. BloodHorse Research shows that particular maiden winners who meet these criteria are more likely to become scored bets winners.

Crossbreed of Chester and Mary Broman I’m Just Kiddin scored an extended win on 12 August at Racecourse Saratogatook special weights of 5 1/2 maiden hairs for 2-year-olds bred in New York.
The Evenly obedient, coached by John Kimmel and ridden by Jose Ortiz, half-sister of Gold bar (via Medaglia d’Oro ), who won the Breeders’ Cup 2017 Filly & Mare Sprint (G1) in her final start. Bar of Gold is also the dam of level 3 winners Coins (Tapit ).
In Im Just Kiddin’s July 15 debut, she chased for a second-place finish on the main track under Ortiz’s lead, but in Friday’s test she did transferred to the field. After fractions: 22.36 and :45.34 in half a mile, she rose from fourth to finish the distance in a final time of 1:03.18 on a firm turf.
Del Mar
Racing for minors at Del Mar hot and heavy this week. And Bob Baffert has now released his responsibility Stone cave Saturday for owners Mike Pegram, Karl Watson and Paul Weitman, who saw an immediate return on investment as the dark horse won six times.
The Interrogation colt took the lead under Juan Hernandez shortly after halftime and set fractions: 22.10,:44.55, and 1:09.35 for six furlongs before finishing a 6 1/2 in 1:15.81 test on track fast. The win earned him a 109 Equibase Speed figure.
Cave Rock was purchased by Three Amigos Racing Stable from last year’s Keeneland Sale last September for $550,000 from Gainesway consignment. The pony didn’t win the graded bet Bellamy Street Georgie’s Angel mare and bred by Ann and Ronnie Sheffer Racing.
The next day, Peter Redekop’s And Tell Me Nolies completed herself from fourth place in her debut on July 23, beating the field of six other 2-year-olds in the 6 1/2 year old girl test to win by neck for coaching member Peter Miller.
Arrogate, ridden by Ramon Vazquez, puts pressure on the much-loved Baffert practitioner Halosnhaven throughout the race and ended up knocking her down in the final moves to get the upper hand in 1:17.27 on the fast track.
Bred by Lara Run, And Tell Me Nolies are out of the race to win the Graded Exchange Rate. Be fair.
Ellis
Sunday at Ellis . Park it is a hybrid of Malibu . farm Sparkling Gems that is turning head. The Bolt d’Oro skillfully coached by Brad Cox won his second start, a one-mile grass event, with a length of 5 and a half.
Removed by Gerardo Corrales, the Flashy Gem comes out of the gate for the first time, and she maintains that momentum to the end, getting fractions of: 25.37, :49.72, and 1:14.05 through six the one stretched and then opened the conductor to complete the gap in 1:37.98 in a solid course.
The Flashy Gem is outside of Smart Strike’s mare Garnet, who also created the level 3 winner Bye Bye.
