There aren’t many clothing items that both my dad and I own, but that’s how iconic and versatile Levi’s 501 is. Jeans to be. The wardrobe staple has been a favorite since 1873—no, that’s not a typo. But now the brand is launching a revamped new style called 501s jeans and I have a feeling that they will be a huge hit as well.
As you’ve guessed, the jeans are inspired by the 1990s, “when celebrities and well-known style icons wore their ’50s a little looser, with a light, comfortable vibe” , Levi’s said in a statement.
