Guilty Gear Strive Reveals Season One Final DLC Character – Terminator

Death has no gender

Something evil happens this way. As part of this weekend’s ARCEVO tournament festival, Arc System Works fifth and final DLC character reveal end the season one of the great fighters Guilty Gear Strive – Do not ask anyone the toll bell: The will has arrived.

A veteran character of Guilty GearDeep, complex lore, The First Wish comes out at the climax of the original Guilty Gear back in 1998. Since then, they have appeared sporadically throughout the series – fighting in the ring or simply lurking in the shadows. Wish is a troublesome celebrity, capable of controlling the battlefield with their blood traps and reaping souls with their familiar yet sinister EXEBEAST. Most of The important thing is that they like potatoes.

To put it bluntly, the new design of the wish is damn gorgeous. The sublime yet unmanly character who had fully accepted their non-binary nature now uses the pronoun Surname / Surname. While their glamorous Gothic look has remained the same – often in keeping with the Grim Reaper Style – Wish completed their new look with a halter top hat and a redesigned Crimson Scythe.

I think they look great. Their redesign is one of the biggest glow fighting games ever… God, I wish I looked that good.

It’s estimated to launch in-game on March 28th for season pass holders, before being available for purchase all day on March 31st. Until that date, Striving Players will likely be waiting to discover the revamped gameplay of Wishes – fear that your nightmare battles will return to claim more unlucky souls. The Will will also come with a brand new stage “White House Reborn”. So yeah, now you can throw down with GG gang at the doorstep 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

In addition to the Covenant reveal, ArcSys also confirmed that the second season, which includes four other DLC characters, will begin in late 2022. About StrivingDue to technical concerns, the developer has announced that it will also roll out cross-play support between PlayStation and PC platforms later this year, while looking at connectivity and stability improvements for Strivingof online.

But that’s not all. As a final reveal, ArcSys has announced that March 28 will see the arrival of the brand new “Digital Image” Mode. This is basically a sandbox for Striving photo mode and will allow players to build fun times from Guilty Gear Strive characters, stages and background items, adjust poses, character composition and even facial expressions to create dynamic custom shots.

This is a particularly neat idea, especially given Strive’s visually stunning design. I look forward to seeing some of the amazing portraits that will surely be created by GG Loyal. With a new character, a new stage, a new mode, a second season of DLC, an upcoming story expansion, and much-requested cross-play technology, it looks like Hearts will Blazing for the rest of it. of 2022 and beyond.
