Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said she will let House Republicans hear from their constituents before deciding whether to move forward with a vote to remove Speaker Mike Johnson.

Greene made these comments to a group of reporters on air on CNN after the incident. The House of Representatives passed four bills in the seventh session. Three of the bills are aid to Taiwan, Ukraine and Israel and the fourth approves a ban on TikTok if its parent company, China’s ByteDance, does not sell it.

Greene listed several reasons why she believed Johnson should not be Speaker, but she also said she wanted to “be responsible” and not call for Johnson to resign before attracting enough support.

“I don’t support Mike Johnson, he’s been a lame duck,” Greene told reporters.

Greene filed a motion to force Johnson to vote stepped down as Chairman in March, but no further action has been taken since then.

Greene also chastised House members for cheering and waving Ukrainian flags after that particular bill passed. Speaker Johnson, who also spoke to reporters after the vote, expressed similar sentiments.

“We should just wave one flag on the House floor and I think we know which flag it is,” Johnson said.

The bills will now go to the Senate, where Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. DN.Y., has suggested it could be Tuesday. If passed, the bill will go to President Joe Biden.
