The Pixel 9 will keep the rounded rear camera cluster and — like Pixel 8 — has a dual-lens setup. Similar to the Pixel 8 series, you’ll have to upgrade to the Pro model to get the extra camera. Additionally, the Pixel 9 appears to have rounded edges with a flat display and a centered punch-hole selfie camera.
The camera specs for the new lineup look pretty similar to the current lineup. The Pixel 9 could have a 50MP wide-angle camera and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera, while the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL could have a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 48MP telephoto sensor. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold could have a 48MP main camera, a 10.5MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 10.8MP telephoto camera. Leaks from 91mobiles suggest the overall setup will be the same, including the camera bump.
The Pixel 9 series will have improved sensors, Android Authority saysespecially for the front selfie camera. Android Agency It’s also been reported that Google will move the internal selfie camera on the Pixel 9 Fold Pro to the corner of the display and add a new square camera arrangement to the rest, a departure from the brand’s iconic Pixel camera bar.
