Giuliana Rancic shares the biggest lessons 10 years after breast cancer
You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only choice.
Message is one of them Giuliana Rancic always close to her heart – and her hospital bed – as she battled breast cancer in 2011. But 10 years after surviving the disease, the fashion designer is reflect on her journey and celebrate how far she has come.
“My biggest self-discovery after cancer and treatment was realizing that I’m stronger than I thought I was,” Giuliana told E! News in an exclusive interview. “I love knowing that I came out of that experience to be a stronger woman.”
When she was first diagnosed, the former E! News co-anchor said she’s scared about what the future will bring. But as she continued to share her story, the 48-year-old realized she was never alone in her battle.
“I wish I knew how many survivors and women are fighting breast cancer,” she said. “I also wish I knew how desperately the medical field needs support to continue the work they do to find a way to save lives.”
