George Stanners Joins Team Goffs


George Stanners has rejoined Goffs in a diverse role, focusing on client liaison and auctions in Ireland and the UK.

After 17 years with Goffs UK/DBS, George took over the role of blood stock manager at Yorton 12 months ago. He will continue to be a mentor to the vibrant breeding and successful stud station and an integral part of the Goffs Yorton Sale that has been very successful in recent years. He will remain based in Welshpool on the Anglo-Welsh border, giving him instant access to a multitude of breeders and racecourses, and will also visit suppliers across the UK and Ireland.

George joined DBS, now Goffs UK, while still in school and developed into a key member of the team and a world-class auctioneer. At the end of 2021, he’s moving to Yorton and this latest move sees him return fully to his move back to the Goffs, albeit in a subtly different role while maintaining the connection. his with Yorton.
