Frozen Strawberry Yogurt [Recipe]

Strawberry fields forever with this delicious frozen dog treat recipe! Just mix some unsweetened frozen strawberries, fat-free yogurt and a capsule and you’re good to go! We recommend investing in a pet-friendly silicone baking sheet to ensure your dog food making efforts are safe, easy, and simply adorable.
This recipe will fill 6-9 inner bones This silicone baking sheet. Each well is about an ounce. Adjust your measurements as needed or consider creating a larger batch that can different flavors in this recipe.

Honestly — these ingredients are very forgiving, so don’t worry about measuring perfection here.
Plus, your dog will happily eat up the leftover yogurt mix. Better yet, you can use it as a base for frozen food Kong treatment.

- Baking pan or ice tray, such as this style from Amazon
- 2 measuring cup, beaker or similar
- Blender or food processor
- No frozen sugar strawberry
- Plain yogurt (we used fat-free)
- Water
Guide
- Add a handful of frozen strawberries to the blender. Aim for 4-6 berries.
- Add 2 ounces of yogurt and 2 ounces of water.
- Puree, adding water if needed to aid in mixing. Go on, leave it a bit chunky.
- Spoon the powder into the well set. Watch out for the splashing berries!
Note
- Measure the depth of the wells in your mold if you want to create multiple flavors at once. Measurement will also help reduce extra fill.
- Clear some flat space in your freezer so that your pups arrange them evenly.
- Use a baking sheet or similar object under your silicone mold, as you will have times when you will have to move it when it’s full without some form of support.
- If you have other Fruits or vegetables that are safe for dogs on hand, replacing them as desired. Dogs won’t mind if you trade green beans for strawberries or pumpkins for peanut butter.
