Floods ravage parts of Romania and the Czech Republic
Storm Boris has caused flash flooding in parts of Central and Eastern Europe, killing four people in Romania.
Evacuations have taken place in the hard-hit Galati district, where thousands of homes were damaged.
In the Czech Republic, firefighters are building defenses around rivers in preparation for further flooding in some cities.
“We must be prepared for the worst,” Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala said after a meeting with emergency services earlier this week.
