Obviously I’m excited to be back at our biggest event of the year and I’m really looking forward to it! The BMW is doing very well, and although my start in the BSB this year was a bit rough, the car is very strong and we are very fast, but the results are still not there for one reason or another .

“But we are in a much stronger position going into this year’s TT than we were last year. I can’t wait to get started, rejoin the race, see where the BMW is at over the 37.73 miles and see what competition we have, because you never really know what someone is going to do but before you start, so practice. The week will be interesting to see where we are and also gauge our competition.”

‘Hicky’ will be joined by FHO Racing teammate Josh Brookes as the pair will race BMW M 1000 RR machines in the Superbike, Superstock and Senior TT races. Following a strong return to the event in 2023 after a five-year break, Josh will be looking to build on his results as he finished fifth in the Senior TT and set a new personal best lap of 132.529 mph.

I didn’t really have much time to think about the TT before the event, I was so busy with our commitments with the BSB, so it was only really when we finished at Donington Park that I started. to think about it

“My situation is different to Hicky, he has wins and lap records to defend and set, and as much as I would love to be in his position, I’m not in that position at the moment.

“I’m looking forward to the TT Races, I love the event and I know how to ride a fast motorbike, but I have to let what happens; take the course, learn more and absorb as much as we can, especially from Pete, and see where that takes us at the end of the practice.

“This year it’s been helpful because it’s the second year in a row I’ve been working with the same team, on the same bike that I ride most weekends, so we’ve gotten into a comfortable space and familiar. Hopefully the weather is good and we have a whole week of practice ready for race week.

FHO Racing will also continue to support Pete Founds and Jevan Walmsley in two Sidecar races this year. Favorites to win the title at the event, this year will be the duo’s seventh year competing together and they will be aiming for the top spot on the podium after claiming a double second place finish last year.

Posting their best lap to date around the Mountain Course in the second race last year on the final lap they clocked 120.079 mph, making them not only the second fastest team ever but also the The second pair of sidecars traveled at more than 120 mph.

I can’t believe TT is here again, it seems like yesterday we packed our gear into the race car and prepared to cross the ocean. The TT is a massive event for the team and is certainly the most popular event on our calendar, the fans there are incredible and we get so much support. We have wins to defend this year in Superstock and Senior, as well as that incredible lap record. It would be easy to go into the event complacent with last year’s achievements, but we have to stay focused and work hard once we get there, we don’t know where our opponents are so we need to make sure tell me what position I am in. of our best games throughout. I know I have the best riders, the best machinery as well as a team that has given its all, so now we have to wait and see what the event will bring. I wish everyone a safe and successful two weeks on the Isle of Man.

FHO Racing BMW Motorrad’s Monster Energy team will begin their TT campaign on Monday 27 May, with a week of practice before racing begins in earnest, where the teams’ first race, The RST Superbike race is scheduled for Sunday June 2.
