CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The attorneys for the property of Alex Murdaugh’s former household housekeeper, Gloria Satterfield, say they’ve reached a settlement with Murdaugh’s former regulation agency Peters, Murdaugh, Parker, Eltzroth, and Detrick (PMPED).
“The Satterfields and the Murdaugh regulation agency have reconciled their variations,” mentioned the Satterfield property’s lawyer Eric Bland. Bland mentioned he couldn’t remark additional.
Bland alleges after Satterfield died, Alex Murdaugh set Satterfield’s kids with a lawyer who would assist them sue him to get an insurance coverage settlement.
Nonetheless, Bland and his associate Ronnie Richter say Murdaugh got here up with a scheme to pocket the greater than $3 million meant for Satterfield’s kids.
Bland and Richter have already reached a settlement with the agency and lawyer, Cory Fleming, who initially was set as much as assist the Satterfields after their mom died.
