Ellis Park hosts ‘Breakfast with the Works’ on June 29
Ellis Park is excited to invite families to the “Breakfast with the Works” track on Saturday from 7-9:30 a.m. (all times Central) for a unique behind-the-scenes experience of a workout morning.
“Breakfast with the Works” is a family-friendly event and admission is free. Attendees are invited to enjoy complimentary coffee and donuts while getting an up-close look at the horses preparing for racing season at Ellis Park, which runs from July 4th to August 4th. 26.
Along with watching the horses train, many local trainers will be on hand to inform fans about what’s happening on the track. Off the track, fans can visit the concourse where booths will be set up by Friends of Ferdinand, The Farmer and the Frenchman, and TwinSpires. Visitors can also enter to win a signed Ellis Park saddlecloth from many of the jockeys participating this summer.
The 102nd season of live racing at Ellis Park begins July 4, with first posts daily at 12:50 p.m. Racing will be held from Saturday to Monday, except for the opening weekend which will run from Thursday to Sunday. For more information about summer, click here This.
