Bring the ladybug home

Ladybird’s father was desperate to help bring her to North Carolina. He knew she was getting old, so he wanted her to spend the last years of her life in a familiar environment. The staff of the shelter were very touched by this story. So they reached out to the non-profit organization Turn Rescue into Pets, who helped raise money for Ladybird’s needs. They soon raised enough money to buy Ladybird’s crib, orthopedic bed, crib mat, and additional medical needs.

Better also helped by providing food and heartworm prevention for Ladybird. Later, Wings of Rescue planned to accommodate the puppy on an upcoming transport to North Carolina. Ladybird’s father remained in touch all this time.
