There are some landscape photography locations that are so popular and well known online that they are essentially list items for a lot of people. However, when they are so famous, is there any use in photographing them? This excellent video essay features an experienced landscape photographer discussing the topic.

I think the problem is that when a place is so popular, almost every conceivable combination of conditions, lighting, season, angle, and composition is photographed (and you’ve probably seen most of it). those combinations), so it’s about Unable to create something new, which makes you question whether you get much benefit from it as a photographer or not are not.
