Discover the new Porsche Taycan at Porsche Centre Ara Damansara this weekend, July 27-28!
Porsche’s first all-electric sports car, the Taycan, has been comprehensively updated, making it an even more compelling proposition. Numerous improvements have sharpened the design, optimised the user interface and increased standard equipment for the Malaysian market. Most importantly, the new Taycan now boasts up to 35% more range than before.
Sounds like a great recipe, right? Well, the good news is that you can now get up close and personal with the public debut of the new all-electric Taycan at the Porsche Centre Ara Damansara this weekend, July 27 and 28.
Sportier looks and an enhanced Porsche Driving Experience are complemented by additional standard equipment for the Malaysian market, including BOSE® Surround Sound System, 14-way electric comfort seats, Park Assist with Surround View and four-zone advanced climate control.
Other new features of the Taycan include a more powerful engine that allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds, as well as a larger capacity battery that allows the car to travel up to 678 km* on the WLTP cycle.
Charging the new Taycan will also be faster. Thanks to optimized battery chemistry, the Taycan can now charge at up to 320 kW at an 800-volt DC fast-charging station, charging from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes.
Taycan owners will also benefit from Shell’s extensive network of high-performance chargers up to 360 kW with an exclusive three-year Shell Recharge Platinum membership – included with every new Taycan – which offers lower charging fees. Porsche Centres in Malaysia are now also equipped with fast chargers up to 350 kW, which are free for Porsche owners to use.
Meanwhile, driving dynamics have been further improved via the standard adaptive air suspension, while the optional Porsche Active Ride significantly reduces body roll and smooths out even the roughest road surfaces.
The Taycan Open House will be held from 9am to 6pm each day and you won’t want to miss the world premiere of the new all-electric Taycan at 2pm, where you can discover the unique features of Porsche’s powerful electric sports car – available as the Taycan sedan and the versatile Taycan Cross Turismo.
