Britney Spaniel Named Dexter has gained a huge following thanks to his impressive resilience! Just six years ago, he was involved in a horrific accident that damaged his front two limbs, but since then he has conquered his life and learned an incredible skill. .
Dexter’s family adopted him in 2015 and happily welcomed the adorable dog into their home. Just as he became the member of the family they had always dreamed of, something unexpected happened that almost took him away.
Dexter accidentally escapes from the family yard and runs towards the street in pursuit of an interesting smell. The scent so enthralled him that he ran into the road with a moving truck, only to be momentarily hit by the large vehicle.
From the moment Dexter was hit by a car, it was clear that he was seriously injured. His parents took him to the nearest vet for intensive care, where the best way to save him was to amputate one of his front legs. His remaining front leg had to be clamped at the elbow, leaving his parents wondering if he would ever live a full life again.
It’s been a long road to recovery for Dexter, but his will to succeed is stronger than his struggles. He always kept a positive attitude, and one day, he took an action that shocked everyone around him.
One morning, Dexter was left in the front yard while his mother went inside to make a cup of coffee. She turned and saw that Dexter had walked up the outdoor stairs on his own, but she had no idea how he was able to do it. That’s when she carried him back to the yard and clicked record to see what he would do next.
That’s when Dexter stood up straight on his hind legs and walked up the stairs by himself. His fur mother can’t believe what she’s seeing, and she’s afraid he’ll hurt herself. Little did she know, this would soon become a routine for Dexter.
