On the DJ Akademiks podcast, Foolio detailed the time the assassins tried to take his life.

I ran up to the studio like, ‘Boy, you set it up for me!’ He was like, ‘Damn it!’ He showed me his texts, something like ‘I swear to God, about my mom!’ “
