David Morrell sensational knockout Aidos Yerbossynuly
David Morrell and Aidos Yerbossynuly on Friday weighed in for their super-middleweight bout on Saturday in Minneapolis, Morrell’s (Showtime) adoptive hometown.
Morrell weighs 166.5 pounds, 1.5 pounds less. Yerbossynuly stands at 167.25.
Morrell (7-0.6 KOs) will appear in a fourth-round knockout against Kalvin Henderson in June, the Cuban-born’s fourth straight game.
He holds the WBA’s 168-pound “regular” title, which Boxing Junkie doesn’t realize. Canelo Alvarez is a WBA champion.
Yerbossynuly (16-0, 11 KOs) last fought last September, when he stopped Lennox Allen for 10 rounds. People of Kazakh descent live in Las Vegas.
