Hamlin’s demise, which played out in front of North American television audiences on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” show, brought the NFL to a halt, with the key game suspended indefinitely. The Kansas Chiefs (13-3) are battling the Bills (12-3) and Bengals (11-4) for the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
