Third generation dacia duster was tracked during testing, featuring the brand’s new design language previewed by the 2021 Bigster concept.
While Australia missed out on the current Duster, the next-generation model could hit our shores around 2025.
The new spy shots show Duster adopting Bigster’s front-end design, including slim LED daytime running lights, air intakes on either side of the front bumper as well as a new Dacia logo. The wheel arch extensions are similar.
Under the black and white camouflage, it looks like the car has LED taillights very similar to the concept.
One notable difference between the Duster and the Bigster concept is the door handles.
This spotted prototype has a regular door handle instead of a flat handle for the driver and passenger side doors. However, the rear door handles continue to be on the C-pillar.
The new third-generation Duster is expected to grow and offer a more spacious interior.
Overseas reports suggest the upcoming Duster could use a CMF-B or CMF-C platform. It is currently using the B0+ platform, a version of the first generation Duster platform.
