I wonder if the rich kids’ climate activists continue to feel the enthusiasm, when their family’s private jet or superyacht is targeted?
Spanish activists vandalize superyacht in Ibiza believed to belong to Walmart billionaire heir

Spanish environmental activists spray painted a super yacht anchored in Ibiza.
Activists from the environmental group Futuro Vegetal posted a video showing them standing in front of a superyacht named Kaos, holding a banner that reads: “You make others suffer.” Activists then sprayed red and black paint on the ship.
“The richest 1% of the world pollutes more than the poorest 50%,” the activists said in the video.

It follows a similar action on Friday, when the group spray-painted a private jet at Ibiza airport, closing the runway for several hours, Futuro Vegetal said.

The affluent climate kids whose families own these toys have clearly pressured their parents to buy carbon offsets, so they would certainly be shocked and dismayed if the method their family’s transportation was targeted.
There is a bigger problem. I can’t help but think that Futuro Vegetal is biting the hand that feeds it. I mean where would the COP conferences be without private jets?

Even the Persian Gulf and the UAE, the location of the upcoming COP28Have copyright infringement problem. Iranian forces sometimes board passing ships for supposedly arbitrary reasons, a problem that can worsen when Iran’s economic recession continues.
And of course, who wants to attend an event like the annual one? WEF Davos . Conference in public transport?
I guess time will tell whether the private jet-owning climatologists who are believed to have provided most of the funding to these groups threaten to withdraw that funding if their personal toys are they confused or not.
