This week, Green Car Report provided first impressions of two upcoming models that prioritize efficiency and driving fun. in one Review of Honda Civic Hybrid 2025, we found this low-cost, high-mpg car ranked above the Toyota Corolla Hybrid, with a smoother, more powerful and more pleasant driving experience than the non-hybrid Civic. It’s a great way to get close to 50 mpg without compromise. And in one Polestar 2025 review 3, we found some of the best seats in the automotive world, although the interface seemed a bit out of place with its thin, pale font and toggles on the steering wheel. It seats five and stands out in terms of ride, handling, and overall build quality compared to the Tesla Model Y Performance, but at a premium of more than $25,000 even before Tesla tax credits, then it must be so.

They are now given an inflated value, which is a boost for automakers because each electric vehicle effectively allows a variety of gas guzzlers to be sold. So between that and the softer future targets released by the Biden administration last week, will automakers want to abandon those calculations?
