newest citizen Attesa GPS watches highlight the watchmaker’s galactic inspiration with full Satellite Wave technology and a space blue bezel and center bracelet links.
While Citizen is celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Attesa collection with this launch, the watch maker makes no secret that its designers have been looking into the space when they designed the new timepiece. Most directly, the watch’s eye-catching, star-spotted dial predicts Citizen’s partnership with Hakuto-CHEAP lunar exploration program.

Citizen, which offers Hakuto-R discovery program with super titan parts used in the Lander Series 1 pins, apply the same coating on this model and on many of its higher-end models (including a few of the best-selling Hakuto-Row Series.)
Super Titanium is Citizen’s proprietary alloy to create the lightweight, hypoallergenic, scratch-resistant and rust-resistant case for the 44mm watch. Citizen applies another high-tech coating, Duratect DLC, along the bracelet and on the bezel.
You’ll find the decorative and protective DLC blue coating along the center links of the titanium strap, between the glossy black Duratect DLC coating. A well-made folding clasp with a button that secures the bracelet.
In all these high-tech materials, Citizen puts its groundbreaking movement F950 to power the light-driven Eco-Drive Satellite Wave GPS functions. The watch is capable of receiving a time signal in just three seconds, with the hour and minute hands moving twice as fast as previous models.
Of course, as an official GPS model, clock hosts a host of advanced features, including world time in 27 cities (40 time zones), chronograph, dual time zones, universal coordinated time (UTC) display, perpetual calendar, as well as daylight saving time and power reserve and light level indicator.
