Chrono Trigger, Secret Of Mana and Final Fantasy Soundtrack appear on Square Enix’s music channel
We’ve covered a lot of Nintendo-related music news on YouTube lately, and with good reason. From it copyright complaint on GilvaSunner’s favorite game music YouTube account for the whole Pokémon Diamond and Pearl soundtrack being uploaded to a video sharing site, it’s a hot topic.
Luckily, Square Enix is making the news today for the right reasons. Looks like yesterday, the company started uploading some of their most loved soundtracks Square Enix Music Channel.
The official YouTube channel has a wide range of soundtracks to stimulate your eardrums, from Final Fantasy series to Mana, Sagaand even The world is over for you Game; This channel seems to be the hub for every classic soundtrack the studio has put out over the years. There are even some playlists to match any mood or taste of Square Enix music you love. We’ll be sure to use them often to write about Nintendo news for you!
There is no shortage of legendary composers who have worked with Square Enix on their games, such as Nobuo Uematsu, Yasunori Mitsuda, Kenji Ito and Yoko Shimomura (among many others). Many of these soundtracks are already available on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music, but it’s great that they’re available for free on another widely used platform.

This list is by no means exhaustive and contains some notable omissions, such as Bravely Default II soundtrack – even though that game only came out a year ago. But this list is from some of their most popular games, so we recommend starting there and then maybe branching out into some of their albums of sorts! Of course, you can always go and listen NieR the music of the series too, it’s amazing.
