Sex and the City star Chris Noth has denied sexually assaulting two women.
“The accusations against me by individuals I have met years, even decades ago, are completely untrue. These stories could be from 30 years ago or 30 days ago – they are not. always means no – that’s the line I haven’t crossed. The encounters are consensual. It’s hard not to question the timing of these stories appearing. I don’t know for sure. Why have they surfaced now, but I know this: I did not assault these women,” Noth’s statement read.
The two women testified that when they were in their 20s, Noth raped them.
The Hollywood Reporter said it reviewed text messages exchanged between Noth and Lily in March and April 2015, in which he expressed his desire to see her again. Lily wrote to him that she was feeling “a bit used to” and canceled a dinner she had scheduled with him. His character was killed on the show.
