Haras Don Alberto is also the breeder of the 4-year-old Succeso, who won last year’s race 1 3/4 length with a score of 9-1. Succeso is owned by Stud Don Mario and is coached by Patricio Baeza, who is carrying six runners-up in this year’s tournament. After the 2021 Gran Premio Club Hipico Falabella, Sucesso finished money in four of his next five games, including winning on February 28 by hitting first El Expreso in 1 1/4 miles Verano Arturo Cousino (G2) at Club Hipico. He starts next in Otono Pedro Garcia de la Huerta Stakes (G2) on April 29 at Club Hipico. Coming off the field with a 5-2 favourite, he kept the ground along the track to the top of the ramp, then leaned towards the center of the field but failed to take the lead and finished sixth, 2nd behind. 1/2 length. Stud Drope’s All Knights, also trained by Baeza, was one of six horses coming out of Huerta Stakes to compete on Sunday. Winner of six races in 21 starts, including his last two attempts, All Knights caught Huerta by the nose in a finishing blanket Savitar to win your first group bet. A 5-year-old son in the care of Master Artisan All of the Knights caught the one-mile handicap by 3 1/2 lengths ahead of the match against Huerta on February 18.
