Chevrolet Corvette Recalled | Car Expert


GSynthetic engine remembered 63 examples Later Chevrolet Corvette in Australia after discovering the sports car’s seat belts did not comply with local regulations.

General Motors said in the recall notice: “Due to a manufacturing defect, the automatic front seat belt retractor (ALR) may operate sooner than intended and lock the retractor while the vehicle occupant is in motion. Try to wear your seat belt.”

“This may prevent the vehicle occupant from properly fastening the seat belt as desired.

“A seat belt that does not function as intended can leave the vehicle occupant without a primary safety restraint system. The affected vehicles do not comply with Australian Design Rule 04/06 – Seat Belts.”
