Benefits of Ink Business Unlimited vs. Ink Business Cash

Not Unlimited Ink Business neither Ink Business Cash offer any credits or travel benefits. This is not unusual for cards with no annual fee.

Both cards offer the same benefits when purchasing and protection when renting a car. With both cards, you’ll get:

  • Purchase Protection:If an eligible item is damaged or stolen within the first 120 days of purchase, you will be compensated up to $10,000 per claim ($50,000 per account).
  • Primary Car Rental Insurance: If you use either card for the entire cost of your rental and business travel, you’ll be covered for theft and damage in the United States and most countries around the world. Keep in mind that this doesn’t provide any liability coverage, but you will be covered up to the actual cash value of the car you’re renting.
  • Extended Warranty Protection: Purchases with a US manufacturer’s warranty of three years or less will be covered by an additional year of warranty. This can be extremely helpful when an item stops working shortly after the scheduled warranty period ends.

Aside from the above benefits, none of the cards have any other outstanding benefits, so if you want to buy travel tickets with this card, first consider the cards you already have in your wallet.

Earn Cashback on Ink Business Unlimited vs. Ink Business Cash

The Unlimited Ink Business has a simple earning rate of 1.5% unlimited cash back all purchases and 5% cash back Ride Lyft by March 2025.

This card is suitable for businesses with many purchases in different categories, giving them an additional 0.5% cash back compared to other cards that only give 1% cash back on purchases that are not in the rewards category.

On the other hand, Ink Business Cash earn 5% cash back at office supply stores and on internet, cable, and phone services (on the first $25,000 spent on combined purchases during each account anniversary year); 2% cash back at gas station And restaurant (on the first $25,000 spent on combined purchases each account anniversary year); and 1% cash back on all other purchases.

As a new Ink Business Cash cardholder, you’ll get an additional 10% cash back on your card’s first anniversary if you have a Chase Business Checking account.

This is a useful income level for the first year; however, since it is only available to business account holders, you may want to open a business checking account before applying for the card. Note that you will only be eligible if your Ink Business Cash was opened between March and November 2024.

If your business has significant spending in the Ink Business Cash bonus categories, then applying for the card is easy. However, if your business has variable monthly spending or if you shop in a variety of categories, then you should go with the Ink Business Unlimited.
