“Full disclosure: The first time I tried this foundation, I wasn’t a fan. But I blame my impatient self for that. I was delighted when I received the clear tube. The letter was so bad that I tore it out of the box and literally smeared it on my face. Yes, I didn’t properly prep my skin, and it definitely showed. The next day, I do my usual skincare routine and facial Magic ice cream ($64), warm foundation on your hands, then apply to skin and blend with a beauty blender. The results are very satisfying. My complexion is smooth and bright but still looks like, my skin. The best way to describe the formula is to imagine a tinted moisturizer and full coverage foundation with a child: It might be too heavy for people who regularly use tinted moisturizers. (like me!) But suitable for those who want a little less than a full coverage foundation.
