Brokerage firm Charles Schwab experiencing technical issues on Monday amid a sharp sell-off in global stock markets.
“Due to technical issues, some clients may have difficulty logging into the Schwab platform,” the company said in a posted on its X social media account. “Please accept our apologies as our team is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Wait times may be longer than usual.”
Some users have reported problems accessing their accounts on social media. The Dow recently fell about 1,000 points.
Schwab wasn’t the only brokerage firm to have complaints on social media on Monday. CNBC is reaching out to other firms to see if they’ve had any issues.
