Cats living in sewers give birth to unusual kittens, vets can’t explain
A feral cat, named Jenny, lives in a sewer. She was rescued and taken to a local shelter. She was severely malnourished. They also found out that Jenny was pregnant. It is imperative that Jenny’s health improves so that she can get through her labor pains.
The volunteers worked tirelessly to take care of Jenny and keep her as healthy as possible. Their efforts worked! The only problem is, she is extremely sly and wants nothing to do with other people or animals. Thankfully with time, Jenny came out of her shell. But soon, Jenny started acting strange. She quits eating and goes back to her old behaviors.
Jenny’s change in behavior can only mean one thing: the cat is about to go into labor! A few days later, Jenny gave birth to five healthy kittens. However, as the kittens grow up, a child looks nothing like a sibling. Her coat is curly! It’s like she has a perm. That is the strangest thing. Even the vet scratched his head. I’ve never seen a kitten look like this!
The vet did the tests and found that the kitten was perfectly healthy. He assured everyone that her appearance would not affect her quality of life. Then the shelter invited a professional cat breeder who knew everything about cats. The breeder was also confused but still wanted to adopt the kitten. The expert claims that the kitten is the prettiest cat she has ever seen!
What follows is quite the story! While we love this story, we strongly encourage you to adopt from your local rescue group or shelter. Too many shelter animals are in need of permanent homes and great companions! Adoption saves lives!
