The search is ongoing to find a shelter in Idaho willing to adopt two diplomatically assigned 12-year-old dogs.
Kelso, a wolf on the border, and Yukon, a Siberian husky, are hoping to find a permanent home for the holidays. The dogs were surrendered at the Twin Falls Animal Shelter just before Christmas.
According to the shelter, the family said they are moving.

Dogs will never abandon a member of their pack, but humans cannot say the same. Those who watched the shelter were heartbroken and angry at the family.

All they have now is each other and they must be adopted together.
They are well-behaved, good with cats and other dogs, and love people of all ages. Gentle souls are in good health and just want a comfy bed and a home to call their own.
