This book was really my gateway into the whole tense subject of second-chance romance and what led me to discover “It Ends With Us” in the first place. Just like Colleen Hoover’s book, this story unfolds in modern times and through flashbacks, but with a different twist: flashbacks to Emiline’s childhood are revealed as Emiline reads the novel. Jase’s theory for the first time, so she explores the story just like we do as readers. . The book has a different book format, but the feel is the same – it’s raw and emotional, and yes, you’ll cry.
