Finally, all of that is starting to change. For the first time we saw a wave of change with like-new car models 4 lines And M3has debuted The controversial (and physically very large) kidney-shaped meshand now there are BMWs that have a whole provocative design, like iX, XM, 5 lines And 7 lines. Last year BMW previewed its next generation design language with Neue Klasse conceptwhich showcases upcoming electric vehicles inspired by the groundbreaking original Neue Klasse cars of the 1960s. And instead of shying away from wild designs again, BMW is leaning in.
Last week I took a look at the second Neue Klasse concept, New Vision Neue Klasse X, live at the Petersen Automotive Museum. BMW will launch six new electric models on the Neue Klasse platform over the next 24 months, with this X concept previewing the first model, the next-generation iX3. Unlike Current iX3Just an electric version of the regular X3, the new model will be different and it looks like it’s going to be great.
