Ben Affleck missed Jennifer Lopez’s 55th birthday party

Dear Readers, Jennifer Lopez will turn 55 this week and in honor of the occasion, she started her birthday celebrations by One Bridge Bridge-themed party last weekend.

While the singer’s closest family and friends (actors Sarah Jessica Parker and Lucy Paez and her mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez) attended her celebration in their Regency best, one very important person in Lopez’s life was absent from the guest list: her husband, Ben Affleck.

Multiple sources have confirmed Everybody that Affleck did not attend his wife’s party on Saturday and instead spent time at his office in Los Angeles.

Lopez’s party comes as she continues to spend the summer in the Hamptons, while Affleck remains in California. The couple, who have been the subject of divorce rumors for months, recently spent the 4th of July apart and not together because second wedding anniversary on July 16, and they also did not publicly acknowledge their special day.

According to sources, the couple’s marriage “not in the best position right now” as they navigate their different personalities and perspectives on fame. “She loves being open with her fans and the world,” the insider shared, adding that Affleck, on the other hand, is “more introverted and private.”

However, another source said Their problems are even deeper.“The idea that Ben thinks Jennifer is too famous and that he doesn’t know what he’s getting himself into with all the attention on their marriage is just not true,” the insider said when speaking to Everybody. “There are deeper issues.”
